Why do we get moles on your body?
Melanin is a natural pigment that gives your skin its color. It’s produced in cells called melanocytes. Moles are caused when cells in the skin (melanocytes) grow in clusters or clumps. Melanocytes are distributed throughout your skin and produce melanin, the natural pigment that gives your skin its color.
What does a mole on the skin look like?
A common mole (nevus) is a small growth on the skin that is usually pink, tan, or brown and has a distinct edge.

Is it normal to have over 100 moles?
Having many moles – more than 100 – is a good reason for vigilant screening, says Lin. However, “be aware that if you are someone with no moles but has fair skin and freckle and burn easily, you are also at higher-than-average risk,” she notes.
Do moles go away?
Some moles will slowly disappear, seeming to fade away. Others will become raised far from the skin. They may develop a small “stalk” and eventually fall off or be rubbed off. Recent studies have shown that certain types of moles have a higher-than-average risk of becoming cancerous.
Which mole is lucky for female?
If a female has a red mole, it is considered very lucky; while a black mole can be lucky or unlucky for a female depending on its position and structure.
Can I remove a mole myself?
You should never remove a mole at home on your own. A doctor might remove a skin mole by either shaving or surgical cutting. A dermatologist may shave off smaller moles but recommend cutting for larger or cancerous ones. Depending on the size of the removal area, you may need stitches.
Can garlic really remove moles?
Garlic is considered to be very warm and that’s why it works wonderfully well in removing or burning the mole. Simply crush a few garlic cloves and form a paste. Now, apply the paste to the mole. Once the paste starts to dry, apply an adhesive bandage over the mole and leave it overnight.
